AND COAUTHORS<\/p>\n<p>THE ROLE OF SOME INFECTIOUS FACTORS IN THE FORMATION OF REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH OF RISK GROUP ADOLESCENT GIRLS<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUMMARY<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Aim:<\/strong> to show the role of some infectious factors in the formation of reproductive health of teenage girls at risk and to justify the involvement of a pediatric infectious disease doctor in the treatment process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Material and methods<\/strong> A retrospective analysis of 48 case histories of girls aged 16,0 \u00b1 0,07 years who were hospitalized in the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology of the Donetsk Republican Center for Protection and Childhood from 2012 to 2019 was carried out. The selection criterion for the study group was a verified diagnosis of vulvovaginitis in sexually active adolescents who had a history of risky sexual intercourse. Consultation of an infectious diseases specialist-pediatrician is an essential part of helping these gynecological patients. The work used discriminatory statistics; the statistical differences in the distribution of gradations of the variable were estimated using the chi-square test for one sample. The calculations were performed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 software.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results<\/strong> Significantly more often, the causes of pathological leucorrhoea in adolescent girls at risk were genital: helminthic invasions 33.3% (n = 16, p &lt;0.05), mycoses with pathogenic microorganisms 27.1% (n = 13, p &lt;0.05); sexually transmitted infectious diseases 29.1% (n = 14, p &lt;0.05); extragenital: urinary tract infections 29.1% (n = 14, p &lt;0.05), and when comparing the results of urine culture and vaginal secretion, the coincidence of pathogenic microflora was noted in 100% of cases (p &lt;0.05). Serological blood tests in patients for the presence of antiparasitic antibodies for enterobiosis correlated with laboratory-confirmed helminthic invasions, (r = 0.53, p &lt;0.01).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusions<\/strong> The study confirms the high role of the influence of infectious factors in the development of both non-specific and specific vulvovaginitis, which affects the formation of reproductive health in adolescent girls at risk. Consultation with a pediatric pediatrician is an important part of the multidisciplinary team in maintaining the reproductive health of adolescent girls.
